This week the focus of the world of fine watches is firmly on Geneva with the opening of the 28th edition of SIHH. We’re taking a look at the brands we’re expecting to shine.

The past couple of years have been relatively low on creativity within the world of haute horlogerie. The industry has spent time, worthwhile time mind you, on looking back through their catalogues and we’ve seen key introductions of heritage lines. 2018, however, looks like it will go down as the year when innovation returned… and in a big way.

Here’s a few manufacturers we’re expecting big news from over the next four days in Geneva:

A. Lange & Söhne

Passions-Arabia-SIHH-2018-Lange

Known for building extraordinary chronographs. In 2018, things are taken a step further: On 15th January, 12 o’clock A. Lange & Söhne will define a new dimension of chronographs.

IWC

Passions-Arabia-SIHH-2018-IWC

They’re going to wow us with their IWC Jubilee Collection.

Piaget

Always pushing the limits, they’ll excel themselves in 2018 and reveal the Altiplano Concept watch – unbelievably thin at just 2mm!

Jaeger LeCoultre

Always combining innovation with elegance, expect a new look from JLC’s Super-LumiNova.

Panerai

Passions Arabia SIHH 2018 Panerai

They’ve played their new-launch cards very close to their chest this year. We’re expecting stellar new pieces with an inspired combination of history and sophisticated technology.

There’ll be more, lots more, and we’re here in Geneva to keep you up to date. We’re keeping on eye on the brands above, and expecting exciting news from the likes of Cartier, Greubel Forsey, Vacheron Constantin and others too.
