It comes and it goes, but this trend seems to be sticking around forever and we are surely not giving up on it yet.

Tribal prints have always had a special place in our hearts and closets, and it is time to embrace its vibrancy again this season. A bit of an ethnic twist never hurt the runway; oh on the contrary, it boosts a bit of color and life into the collections.

Designers such as Veronica Etro, the creative designer of her family’s archetypal fashion dynasty, indicates that it always begins with choosing the fabrics before the designs. Why is that? When your brand focus is patterns and prints you have to see what works before you hit the drawing boards.

We are seeing a lot of bead-trimmed kaftans and silk maxi dresses that we cannot wait to play around with. The thing with tribal prints is that you don’t have to go for over-the-top designs, or even accessorize much. The simpler the better, as the piece you are wearing should be the one doing all the talking.
