Young Kuwaiti artist Hassan Alattar attended the seasonal “Fashion Forward Dubai”, which was held in Dubai at Dubai Design District (D3) over four days and attended by a large number of media, beauty and fashion lovers, and a number of international social media influencers. And now, he’s launching his own fashion line.
Hassan watched more than 18 fashion shows by international designers some of which include the likes of Amato, Michael Cinco, Ezra, Splash, and many others. He also insisted on encouraging Arab designers who presented stunning designs for this seasonal platform and had his attention caught by their ideas, innovations and creations, such as Kuwaiti designer Yousef AlJasmi, Lebanese designers Roni Helou, Hazem Kais, Tania Skaff and Hass Idriss, Saudi designer Arwa Al Banawi, Emirati fashion designer Hessa Falasi, Palestinian designer Rima El Banna and Atelier Zuhra.
Al-Attar’s talents are wide-ranging, going beyond singing, composing, writing and acting, and he has now created his own line in fashion design. Hassan is currently preparing for launching his first collection of clothing and showcasing it for the first time at Fashion Week in New York 2020 and later on at Fashion Forward Dubai 2020.
Hassan’s entry into the fashion world coincides with the release of his first “Visual Album”, which includes 4 visual songs that combine soundtracks and sensations, and is portrayed as a complete work of art. It is like a musical film in that Hassan has chosen carefully every song which carries with it a deep story or incident that happened to him and has left a significant impact in his life. You can easily experience how this is translated by sound and images in his music.
Never before has an Arab artist released a “visual album”. Through this album, Hassan seeks to get closer to his audience and invite them into the details of his life.
